David Gravel.

CEO/Founder

David Gravel is the founder and CEO of GraVoc. He is a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) and has obtained several industry certifications including: certified information security manager (CISM), certified information systems auditor (CISA), certified in risk and information systems control (CRISC), and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP). Prior to founding GraVoc, David was CFO for Selecterm, Inc., and helped orchestrate the company’s sale to GE Capital. David takes an active role in the Peabody community where he was Councilor-at-Large for nearly two decades. Dave is also on the Board of Directors for many local non-profits and community programs including North Shore Community Action Programs, YMCA of Metro North, Merrimack Valley Elder Services, MassHire North Shore Workforce, and is the Chairman of the Peabody Education Foundation. An alumnus of Salem State College, David is now a member of the school’s Center for Entrepreneurial Activities Alumni Advisory Board. When he isn’t working or volunteering, David enjoys spending time with his family and skiing.

President

Nate Gravel is President at GraVoc.  He joined GraVoc in 2008, serving previously as the company’s Director of Information Security and most recently as Vice President of Information Security & IT.  As President, Nate is responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of all GraVoc’s service offerings, sales and marketing, strategic planning, and growth. Nate has a B.A. from Trinity College (Hartford, CT) and a M.A. from Middlebury College (Middlebury, VT).  He has also earned several industry certifications, including: certified information systems auditor (CISA), certified information security manager (CISM), and certified in risk and information systems control (CRISC) from the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).

Founder

Cathy Gravel is a founder of GraVoc. Prior to joining GraVoc, Cathy worked in both the medical field and as an entrepreneur with The Sewing Room, her seamstress business. Aside from co-founding GraVoc, Cathy prides herself in her community involvement. She is currently a board member of the Peabody Rotary Club where she helps spearhead many of their events such as the Taste of the North Shore as well as their scholarship programs. From 2009-2010, Cathy was the club’s president and was also awarded Rotarian of the Year along with the prestigious Paul Harris Fellow distinction for embodying the Rotary’s slogan ‘Service above Self’. Cathy has also been a board member for Haven from Hunger and the Peabody Chamber where she received the Mary Upton Ferrin Award in 2008. Cathy also served on event committees for both the YMCA of Metro North for their annual Gala and the auction committee for Citizens for Adequate Housing. In her leisure time, Cathy enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with her family.

Vice President of Software Solutions Practice

Jason Vlacich is the vice president of GraVoc’s Software Solutions practice. Since 1999, Jason has been responsible for overseeing enterprise resource planning and customer relationship management implementations for GraVoc’s customers.

Jason’s experience includes front-end and back-end development of Microsoft Dynamics AX, Dynamics GP, Dynamics NAV, Dynamics SL, Dynamics CRM, Macola, Elliott, and several database platforms including SQL and Access. Jason’s knowledge of manufacturing process and accounting is superior, developed over many years of implementations in a wide variety of environments. A graduate of Bentley College (B.S., Accounting) and Northeastern University (M.S., Finance), Jason has earned several professional certifications, including certifications specific to Dynamics AX, Dynamics GP and Dynamics NAV.

Vice President of Creative Technology Practice

Brian holds a degree in communications from Quinnipiac University since 2004. He has been working in the technology and A/V field for nearly two decades and joined GraVoc in a full-time role in 2010. Brian’s top skills are sales, management and digital marketing and he is also proficient in SaaS Software, WordPress, Photoshop, Video Production and Event Planning. Brian enjoys projects that leverage his wide array of skill sets to merge the worlds of technology and design. He has also completed several professional training programs that include concentrations in Agile Project Management, CRM, Video and Leadership. Brian prides himself on being one of the co-founders of GraVoc’s Creative Technology practice. When not working, Brian loves to ski, DJ, attend live music events, outdoor sports, traveling the world and spending time with his wife Bridget and two children.
