What is Power BI?

What is Power BI used for?

Power BI can pull from multiple, unrelated datasets to create interactive, highly visual reports and dashboards that help uncover strategic insights in real time.

Power BI Pro vs. Premium vs. Free

Power BI products include Power BI Desktop, available for free download. This version allows users to create interactive reports through an easy-to-use interface but does not include features like report sharing.

Power BI Pro allows you to purchase licenses for individual users so they can create, publish, and share reports. This product is also included in the Microsoft 365 E5 suite of applications.

Power BI Premium provides more enterprise-scale features, including access to all Microsoft Fabric workloads.
